Priscilla + JJ were a BLAST to work with! Priscilla shows nothing less than a smile, which represents her amazing personality. JJ definitely knows how to bring out some funny jokes! They are absolutely perfect for each other, and that is why, this wedding was a breeze to capture those joyful moments. Priscilla + JJ actually live in New Mexico, so Priscilla and I actually planned out all their wedding photography plans and timeline through texts and calls. I did not feel a burden at all with keeping a long distance communication with her because that's what I love to do. GIVE IT MY BEST! This past weekend, We headed out to Brownsville Texas to capture a beautiful happily ever after! I was so excited to capture this wedding for being the first wedding in the month of April. The weather was perfect, and not to mention since we are in the middle of transitioning over to the summer soon, April had a great kick start for weather. Martha & Richard are perfect for eachother. It was really nice getting to capture their big day, and know that they both have big families. I realized there, I wish I was from a big family because at the end, family is all you have left <3. I was excited the day Stephanie and Leo decided to go with me as their photographer. So many ideas came into mind, and I couldn't wait for their fun wedding. They are both a very fun couple to be around. Their wedding day had plenty of laughs, tears, and allot of dancing. We were a little worried about the weather, because you can't really trust South Texas weather. Overall, it turned out to be a hot and sunny day, so we had no worries for rain! So, I spent the first day of the year taking this beautiful beach engagement session. It was a meaningful location for the couple since they had got engaged at the beach almost a year ago. I'm glad the weather was warm with a little breeze, and knowing South Texas weather, it doesn't get that cold that often here. The New Year is around the corner and as I am wrapping up all my weddings on my hard drive, I couldn't pass this wedding up. When I started to edit these photos, immediately I wanted to share them. Working with Alyssa and JD was a great experience for us. Alyssa is a very organized bride, and the fact that she had everything under control and going on schedule was great. JD is a great compliment to Alyssa, because he will make her laugh with his jokes, and make every moment fun and worthy. Their wedding took place outdoor at Humming Bird Springs, in Donna TX. The day was perfect daylight, along with a cool breeze and the night was absolutely lovely as well. It was a chilly evening, but definitely did not stop the party from going on all night. 2016 was definitely an awesome year. Within our team, we grew closer with one another and we were able to end our year traveling to this awesome wedding in Houston TX. Celina and Abdiel are both beautiful souls! I have known Celina since I was in high school actually, so when we saw each other at the wedding expo, it was like fate brought us together! I was beyond excited for her to see she found the love of her life. Abdiel is a complete gentleman with Celina, and shows how much he cares about her through out the little things. This wedding was a beautiful one at Casa los Ebanos in San Benito, Tx. The day was perfect for their outdoor wedding!
This wedding was absolutely beautiful! Sometimes, the weather can cause a disturbance and make us feel worried a day before the wedding, but we must hold onto hope and know that everything will be okay no matter what. At the end of the day, you have the best blessing ever, which is marrying the love of your life. Corina and Joshua, definitely proved that point! They were both filled with excitement and joy, to know they were going to be married and the weather cleared up right before Corina walked down the aisle and they both said I do! It was one sweet journey getting know Liliana and Charlie! Liliana had been following me and my work on instagram for sometime, not to mention I would also follow her and was in hopes to meet her one day! It is so funny how things work out, and when the proposal happened, it was time to meet! I was so EXCITED to have been able to hear from Liliana and be asked to be her wedding photographer. Once I met her and Charlie on their engagement session, you can absolutely see the love between them and how their love has happened!

I have been wanting to start a new blog post this week, and I have decided to blog on this beautiful couple! I have been able to follow Liliana on social media, and got to know her through there. But when I met her in person, she is just as sweet as she looks in her photos. She is full of joy and happiness, and along with her fiancee (soon to be husband in a few weeks!), she is just completely brightened up! I feel very blessed that my cousin, Abigail, who is Liliana's good friend referred me to her. Thank you so much Abby for referring this sweet couple to me! They were amazing and fun to capture, and I am very grateful to them for trusting me with their wedding day memories! This wedding was filled with emotions and many tears. As I see how much Mark and Ashley are loved and appreciated by their families, made me realize that family will never let us down. It was an absolute blessing to be able to witness and capture the love of Mark and Ashley. Getting to capture this wedding, made me realize how they are both absolutely made for each other. Once again, we met an Aggie and a Longhorn! I will say again, this is a UNITED love :)
This summer was by far one of the busiest summers i've ever had! We had some beautiful weddings and apart from everything was able to take a quick vacation. Anyways, this wedding was definitely one for the portfolio. Amanda and Adolfo are one the most loving couples I have met! They are both very patient and kind. This beautiful wedding was long waited for, and when it happened I truly felt emotional on their day, and I still can't believe how fast it went by! Despite that Adolfo is an Aggie (Gig'em!!) and Amanda a Longhorn, their love and happiness is not divided but definitely UNITED. You can see and feel the love between them two. I feel very blessed to have captured this beautiful wedding. I wish them both a very happy marriage and long life of love, happiness, and peace!
As we grow up, we see that our parents have everything to provide us with. We are kind of born into things. As we grow up and move on with our lives, we notice that it takes allot of hard work and dedication to get to those standards. That's how I saw Rita and Daniel. As I was invited to take their getting ready photos at their new home, I realized there that if you set your mind to goals, and stick to them you will get there. Having a new home is such a big blessing, but the process can be difficult, overwhelming, and perhaps challenging especially when you have to save every penny and be ready for the closing. Once you close on your home, and have the keys, there is no better feeling. I am sure that Rita and Daniel felt that way, in conquering the stages of having a home built to their liking! This wedding had allot of emotions, and even then I was a bit emotional too. Congrats Rita and Daniel!
When the bride goes about planning her wedding day and we discuss the schedule with them, sometimes it can be overwhelming. Some brides tend to think, "let me prepare for the worst". However, I think from now on I need to mention, "Let's prepare for the best". As you go about your wedding day, you only think about schedule and time. Your party is going on and you are focused on what's next on the agenda. Sometimes, I think it is best for every bride out there who reads this, to [Let Go] of time and let everything that is surrounding you take care of itself. As photographers, we discuss the schedule with our brides to give a heads up as to what we will be doing and what should be happening. Most importantly, I need to from now on mention what a great day it will be, and to have lots of fun. Sometimes we like to over plan and be very much prepared. But are we prepared for the best of times? This wedding was absolutely beautiful to capture! No worries here.

I have known this beautiful couple for 5 years, but I have known the groom since middle school. I was beyond excited and felt very blessed when they asked if I could photograph their wedding. They both are very special, and I said yes right away! I was counting down to their wedding, and the day came and went by so fast. Eunji and Eric are a very sweet couple! Couple of months back I took their engagement session at Rice University in Houston, (preview here: http://newdimension.zenfolio.com/blog/2015/5/eunji-eric-engagement-session) and that is when I got to know them a bit more and noticed they are very much in love. Their wedding was on July 4th! So I had a great 4th of July experience photographing this wonderful couple in Houston, Texas. It started with their getting ready, which had each of them reading a letter from one another. I will be honest, I held back my tears! The ceremony was absolutely beautiful as they each read their vows, I held back my tears again! But during the reception, it got emotional for me and I teared up along with them as we heard the best man & maid of honor speech, and the matron of honor speech! Eunji's Matron of honor could not be present at the wedding, but she did send in her speech and was able to facetime with Eunji during the dedicated speech and song. It was a great wedding, and we had a wonderful time capturing these two love birds! Some previews below!
I have known Loryn now for 2 years or so. It was such great honor to be able to be a part of her special day. I remember hearing from her that she got engaged over Christmas 2014 and was excited for her wedding day to come! Knowing her love story, I was so excited for her and none the less, it was a beautiful wedding! As I saw her walk down the aisle, I began to remember all the small conversations we had about her day, and everything that was still pending. I had a wonderful time photographing the wedding of Yesenia and Gus. They are both a very sweet couple and I enjoyed being a part of their day. I met Yesenia months before the wedding, and later on I met Gus during the engagement session which took place in Falfurrias, Texas at his family's ranch. I was nervous to meet Gus, but when I saw them both together you can tell they are perfect for one another. Yesenia was not just my bride or a client, she became more than that for me. She become a friend. During her bridal session, we had great conversations on marriage and what is to come forth. It was special getting to know her more. Here are some previews of their wedding day.

I spent Saturday afternoon at Rice University with Eunji and Eric. They are both so adorable, and very much in love. Eunji hired us for her wedding back in January. I had been wanting to meet her since she currently lives in Houston. When we scheduled a date for her engagement photos, I couldn't wait to meet them both! It was a great experience for me to fly out to Houston to meet two wonderful people. Rice University was by far amazing! Happy Sunday everyone! Today I had an opportunity to blog about last night's wedding since I am currently at a hotel and felt well rested. Yesterday, I had an opportunity to photograph Arturo and Megan's wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony outside, and thank God the rain did not come to us! Jorge and Michala booked with me over a year ago. When I marked this day on my calendar I couldn't wait for their wedding. The weather turned out great, even if it has been a month filled with rain. I am happy for the both of them and wish them the best for their marriage. Michala is a very sweet bride, and at the end of the day she turned out to be more than a bride for me. Michala was a beautiful bride, and apart from everything she has wedding experience as her background. Michala is from Missouri, and she was living there as a wedding planner! It was very exciting to see how everything turned out because after witnessing so many weddings, you definitely get the idea of how you would like your own wedding to be. My 2015 year started with lovely couple who I met at a Wedding Fair. I was excited when I saw them again come around and wanted to book with me! I must say they are such a lovely couple and family. Their two sons, are absolutely adorable! They have a passion for the spurs, and cheer their team on loud and proud! :) I wanted to share some lovely moments from their wedding, which took place at Valencia Event Center. Although we did not have the ceremony outside, it was still a nice ceremony as Damaris walked down the aisle. I did have a few tears behind the camera capturing that moment. The bride Damaris, felt like a friend I knew from a long time ago! It just felt like a connection between us. The connections always make everything feel more special. Here are some previews ;)
My year started right off with Isabel and Alfonso's wedding! Absolutely gorgeous couple, and they have accomplished allot in their lives! They both have established their career's in Education, have a beautiful home, and the rest is history. :) They are very much in love, and capturing their special day meant allot to me, knowing I had previously saw them at another wedding of their friend's. This couple chose the right day to have their photos taken... :) It was perfect outside, the sun was not too bright and the breeze was just perfect. I was excited when Roseann and Martin booked me as their wedding photographer. I met them awhile back at an expo, and they had shared with me a bit of what they wanted to have, and they do have a western side. Right away, I felt that we clicked and when we met to take their photos it was like hanging out with a group of friends. Here are a few photos from their session.
It was very nice getting to meet Yesenia and Gus together. I had first met with Yesenia some time ago as we discussed what were her wedding plans and ideas. I was so excited as to when I found all the details, and the location of her wedding (Casa los Ebanos!), I got more excited. We made plans to meet one Saturday at Gus's family ranch. When I got there, allot of ideas came to mind. I can't even describe how much land there was to work with :-) It was beautiful to be out there and capture memories. Here I will share a few.
It was so fun capturing photos of Genesis for her sweet 16! She was filled with laughter, and made my session go smooth. I was a bit nervous since I had never met Genesis before the session, but everything turned out well. Here are some photos for preview of her sweet session!
I was very excited when I got told I would be the photographer for these two love birds. I couldn't wait to start capturing photos of them, and in different cities. We spent Sunday Afternoon in San Antonio, taking photos of Arturo and Megan. They made my job very easy, since they both were natural! They are completely in love, and it shows in their photos. I had a great time working with them both in San Antonio, and their wedding will be taking place in Houston, Texas next year in April. The wedding has past, and now I can share these amazing bridal photos of Alicia. It was so great getting to know her on a personal level at her bridal session, where its just me and the bride. I get to know more of what she is expecting for her day, and other dreams she has for the brig day. I enjoyed taking these photos, and none the less, it was a rainy day, so luckily we found an indoor location :)
I am not sure where to begin about Julissa...She is such a beautiful young girl that I absolutely enjoyed photographing her entire session and event. Her gorgeous smile brings light in a room and can easily carry a conversation. None the less, I am so happy to have photographed part of the family already. I photographed her mom's brother's wedding in March, and now I had the privilege to photograph this XV on Saturday. I am so happy that I can finally reveal the photos! Her mom wanted me not to show the dress... :) but now I can! As you can see in the photos, Julissa is a happy girl on the go, and definitely a beautiful girl. Julissa, it was so great to photograph you and to have you in my portfolio. I am so happy that we got a chance to meet each other through out the process, and I hope you have enjoyed the photos up to now :)
I've had the privilege to photograph this wonderful couple for the past 4 years or so. The photos have been able to tell their journey as they continue to celebrate their anniversary together. I am so happy that this year we went out to capture some quick photos on an open field. Despite of mosquitos, we were able to capture these great shots! This couple is absolutely natural in front of a camera ;) Happy Monday!
Where do I begin? This is going to be my 5th year having New Dimension Photography (rgv) in my life! Our anniversary is coming up in October on the 11th. I can remember so many good and bad things that have happened along the way, but the only memory I have of all this, is the experience I gained at the end of the day. We've come a long way together, and I can honestly say, we are going towards the vision I've always had. One vision we have in mind is to travel around the United States for now, capturing beautiful wedding photography. My first wedding EVER in 2009, took place in little ol' El Paso Texas. In the middle of my college career, this wedding came to be and I took days off to travel on to El Paso and capture a wedding. From that moment on, I knew I was meant to be a photographer who travels back and forth and all around, wherever the wedding is and will be.
With this small introduction said, let me present who I am. Few questions to read below.
1. Where are you from and where were you raised?
I am from Houston, Texas. I lived there for a couple of years, then following back almost every summer while I was younger in middle/high school years. I was raised in McAllen for the rest of my life. I can't remember Houston all the time anymore, but I know I would not mind living there in the big city.
2. What is your favorite season for weddings and strongest time in your business?
My favorite season to capture weddings are during the Fall or Winter time. The sunlight is absolutely beautiful and none the less, the photos speak for themselves. The soft and warm colors help the photo become something to embrace even more. The strongest time for my business, is during the summer. All the weddings take place during summers :) I do not hesitate that they take place in the summer, but I must say at times it is quite a challenge with the summer heat. Obviously that will never stop me from capturing breathtaking moments :)
3. How many weddings have you captured up to now, 2014 season?
Up to now, if I only count the weddings I've had- 80 Weddings. Believe it or not! I've had 80 weddings total. I can put all my DVD's/ CD's/ and Hard drives/ USB's together to show that I've had 80 weddings with these 5 years. So every year I've averaged about 20-25 weddings. Despite my first year, I only had 10 weddings. Slowly growing and the demand for our photography, has taken us to the next level every year. Thank you God.
4. Did you study to become a Professional Wedding Photographer?
MAYBE! I currently hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from University of Texas- Pan American. Class of 2010. When I was just about 1 semester away from graduating, I realized I wanted to be an entrepreneur. I wanted to have my own business in photography since at UTPA, I worked in the student newspaper, and took photos for the UTPA Free Magazine on campus. It was a hard decision to even know where to begin because I was 1 semester away from graduating. My goal was to finish college in 3 years, in which I did. I wanted to keep that goal, so I went ahead and made sure I would minor in something that would help me out later in life as well. I currently have two minors; Business and Communication Design. The classes I took were all Junior-Senior level courses, so I made sure I didn't waste time in pre-req's or anything that didn't tie me down towards knowing how to develop into an entrepreneur. When I graduated, I did many things apart from Wedding Photography, realizing Wedding Photography is the one career I truly enjoy!
5. Are you married? Any children?
I got married in 2012, which was absolutely the best day of my life. I will never forget my wedding nor all the wonderful family and few friends I had to join us! Yup, few friends. Everyone that took place in our wedding were our families. They are absolutely the best people anyone can ever have around to support and guide you on your journey! I am married to a wonderful man, who is an Aggie Alumni (TX A&M) and an engineer. We are still currently working on our journey together, and I believe we will always be! Marriage has been amazing and has been a gift everyday to us. I wouldn't trade this for the world. We currently don't have children yet, as to we have many goals and a bucket list to complete before then :)
6. What are we to expect from you on our wedding day?
A few happy tears. Love and Friendship. I am a very passionate wedding photographer. Everything I do that leads up to the wedding day is done with passion. Everything I do on the day of your wedding is done and completed with passion. I love to witness moments, capture the laughter and love between you and your fiancee. On your wedding day, expect me to be saying "uhhhh and wow" at everything taking place. I love the small details at a wedding, I love seeing the bride's beautiful wedding dress before the groom (hehe), and there is nothing that I don't love!
